2024 IPSHA Chess Competition

On Tuesday the 18^th of June, four students from the Aquinas College Junior School attended the IPSHA Chess Competition.

The boys that represented Aquinas were William Riordan (6W), Lochlin Lim (6R), Fionn Sao (6R) and Tri-Quang Le (5B). The students were selected after multiple tournaments in the after-school Chess Club.

The competition ran for the entire day with the students playing eight 15-minute rounds against competitors from other schools. Of the 14 schools and 56 students competing in the competition, Aquinas placed 7th overall. The boys were respectful to their opponents and should be very proud of their achievements.
