18 Year 6 students attended the National Youth Leaders Day held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday 20 March. This was an opportunity for the students to hear leaders within the community and reflect on their own role as a leader and the triumphs and challenges which leadership presents. The boys heard from pro-surfer and entrepreneur Eliza Greene, author James Foley, former AFL player Matthew Pavlich and Minister for Youth Simone McGurk. Each speaker referred to examples of perseverance, gratitude and grit. Judging from the conversations at the breaks and on the bus, the boys thoroughly enjoyed the day.
