Last weekend, Aquinas student Mitchell Bacon competed in the Australian Scooter Association National Titles in Melbourne.

After winning the State Title earlier this year, Mitchell competed against the top 15 riders from across the country and managed to take out first place. This makes him the first Perth Scooter rider in any category to ever win a National Title – a solid achievement against riders from the east who have access to comparatively huge ramps in indoor facilities.

He has now been invited to represent Australia at the World Scooter Championships in Arizona in October. Congratulations, Mitchell!
